My Safari session keeps getting interrupted by a dialog box saying, "Safari Web Content quit unexpectedly." The fix?
JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you running?
Customer: OSX 10.9.5.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Neighborhood Tech was here yesterday and removed a bunch of old files. Solved other problems but not this one.
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Safari is 9.1.3.

Hi there and welcome

go to Safari > Preferences > Advanced and check the ‘Show Develop menu in menu bar’ box. Then from the Safari Menu, select Develop > Empty Caches

Once done, close and open Safari and tell me how it then operates please
