Customer: I don't. It's probably 4 years old. I can't turn it on to see info!
JA: When did you purchase your Apple device? What troubleshooting have you tried?

Follow the steps to perform recovery.

  1. Reboot the Mac and hold down Command+R to Boot into recovery or hold down OPTION
  2. Select “Recovery HD” at the boot menu
  3. At the Mac OS X Utilities screen, select “Disk Utility”
  4. Select the boot volume or partition from the left menu and click on the “Repair” tab
  5. Repair Disk is now possible, click on “Repair Disk” to repair the boot volume.

Hold down Command-R on your keyboard immediately after pressing the power button to turn on your Mac, or immediately after your Mac begins to restart. Continue holding until you see the Apple logo or a spinning globe. Startup is complete when you see the utilities window.After starting up from macOS Recovery, select reinstall mac OS , then click Continue.
