My emails are frozen on my IPad. I get the message "no message selected", but can't get into the messages. Help please!
JA: What Operating System (OS) are you running on your ipad?
Customer: Sorry, but I don't know.
JA: When did you purchase your ipad? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I bought this iPad 2 years ago. I haven't tried any trouble shooting.
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?

This appears to be a glitch on the software. Press and hold the on/off button and the home button down together at the same time.

Continue to hold both button for up to 30 seconds or until the iPad shuts off and the Apple logo appears. When the logo appears let go of the buttons.

It is the sleep/wake button. Depending which iPad it is either on the top or side of the iPad.

It turns the screen on and off.
