re-activating and I do not know the Apple ID is to re-activate it; and I am in France.
JA: When did you last reset your Apple ID or password?
Customer: a long time ago when my son gave it to me
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: yesterday I installed app updates as they were available
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I tried to reset the phone by turning it off completely and entering my gmail address and some possible passwords that I use
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?

Once done, you will likely need to reset your password ***** this you can do via my link below

Use the link to reset your password ***** once done use this new password
Once done, you can use these details to sign in on your device
