Hi there! My name is*****'m sorry that you're having this problem. It would be my pleasure to assist you.

Unfortunately, if you can't unlock your ipad with the 4 or 6 digit numeric passcode, you will need to reset the device to factory settings.

Unless you made a backup before you forgot your passcode, there isn't a way to save your device's data. You'll need to erase your device, which deletes all of your data and settings. There are 3 ways that you can erase your device.

  • If you've synced with iTunes, you can use iTunes.
  • If you're signed in to iCloud and Find My iPhone is enabled, you can use iCloud.
  • If you don't use iCloud and you can't sync or connect with iTunes, we'll have to use recovery mode.

Please let me know which method you wish to use and I will provide detailed instructions.
