i-pod (Classic) will connect with my computer (microsoft laptop) but for some reason will not "Sync".. I-pod says "Syncronizing", but nothing transfers from library to i-pod. music folders stay the same.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your machine, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: computer is ASUS, Windows 10. It was syncing fine until now.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: i-pod Classic...think it's all updated.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: none yet.
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: we're good...

Hi, I'm Pete. Welcome to JustAnswer! I'm reviewing your question now, and will post back with your reply ASAP.

If your iPod is stuck on syncing, delete the files from the following folder and reconnect your iPod again.
~/Libary/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/TheNameOfYouriPod/

DO NOT delete your iPod's folder... just delete the files that are inside it.

Let me know if that works?

Where do I find "Library/logs/crashReporter/Mobiledevice..."?
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I'm going to purchase a mini today that has Bluetooth capability..This one is too old to work with.
Thanks. Tony

Ok, if you need anything else just let me know.

Best,

Pete.
