My ipad2 is frozen. I cannot turn it off to reboot. The "slide to turn off" won't slide. What can I do?
JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?
Customer: Safari
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?

Hi there, I am Cris and will be glad to assist you.

In your case you can perform a forced reboot. Press and hold the wake/sleep button and home button down together. Continue to hold until the iPad shuts off do not let go until the Apple logo appears. When it does let go and allow to boot up.
