I cannot get it to work. A message says it cannot be activated because the activation server cannot be reached.
JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?
Customer: No idea. How can I find that out?
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No. I did try but I believe it said it could not do it but I don't know why.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I don't know what I can try, I can't get far enough in to try anything. The alarm went off this morning and I could not get it to shut off without shutting off the phone. It will let me put in my password ***** that is as far as I can go.
JA: OK. To minimize me, please click the down arrow at the top right corner of this box.
Customer: OK, I did that. What happens then?
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
