I want to replace a 1 TB HD in my Mac Pro early 2009 version

Customer Question

I want to replace a 1 TB HD in my Mac Pro early 2009 version with a 3 TB HD. What specific model information do I need to order. I prefer Western Digital drive or Hibiachi.
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular machine?
Customer: Not sure what you mean by experience. I have had it since 2009. I have a 3 TB HD in another slot #4 and it works fine. The drive in #2 is 1 TB and is about full.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: I have automatic update selected for Apple updates. I am using teh current OS by Apple.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: None, don t have a need at this moment. It is a increase in capacity desire not a problem with the current set up.
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no
