I was on apple.com/recover, but it would n ot accept the verification number sent to me on Friday.
JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?
Customer: I don't know
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: iPad was purchased at Apple store on Friday, but it needed data etc. transferred from my old iPad. This was going to take at least an hour, I'd been there for at least 4 hours, so the staff member suggested I do that at home. I have been struggling with it ever since.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have contacted Apple Support and a worker there assisted me in downloading, but I now need to enter the verification code and it will not accept the one sent to my iPhone
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I'm not sure what they need to know
