E password and now my apples TV will not work and it said I

e password ***** now my apples TV will not work and it said I had to reset my account. What does that mean
JA: Have you contacted anyone about your account?
Customer: No
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I am not very good at this. I changed the password ***** then tried the apple tv which I have not used in awhile. I am a non techie and would hope that the Apple tv would work but it didn't and it said I had to reset my account. That is all I know.
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?

So....you have to UPDATE yoru password ***** your APPLE TV.

Your Apple TV uses your Apple ID.

And if you change your Apple ID password......then your Apple TV doesnt know that.....and you have to UPDATE the Apple ID password.

Then it shoudl work again.
