My iphone screen is dark.
JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?
Customer: I do not know. I have the new iphone 7.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: no
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: try to turn on and off, but I know the phone is on, and I can get the phone, but I can not see anything so I can not answer the phone.

It is possible that the LED backlight of your iPhone 7 is failed. If this is a software issue, restoring your iPhone from will fix it :

Important : No data should be lost when restoring your iPhone, But it is recommended to make a backup

Download and install iTunes on your computer from here :

Connect your iPhone 7 to your computer and open iTunes then Press and hold down both Home and Power button until your iTunes asks you to restore it. Click Restore.
