Thanks. We have a 2 month old iPod and the screen lights up but there is nothing else viable. Tried to reboot with button the side but it did nothing. My name is*****: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?
Customer: No idea but I do know that it does not have cell capability, just a plain jane iPod
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No, it is my wife's and she doesn't install anything unless I do it.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Tried holding down the home button and tried rebooting with the button on the side
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
