When I click on the chrome icon my desktop usually is ready for use. I did something..... another tab came up. I need to go back to my usual way by clicking the chrome icon
JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?
Customer: iOS
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: no Unless I did by mistake
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I tried to click on the chrome icon and that is all

Are you using Chrome on a Mac, or iPhone or iPad?

You say you are using iOS, but you say that the problem is with Chrome on your Desktop. Can you give any more details?

I think you might mean a Mac computer, so I will give you a shortcut way to open Chrome, just to see if I'm on the right track.

Press and hold the Command key, then press Spacebar. Then type Chrome in the box that appears.

When you have typed in Chrome, press Return, or double click Chrome, to open it.

If this opens then I can help you store the Chrome icon on your Dock at the bottom again for faster opening, let me know.
