My IPhone & IPad are both disabled.
JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?
Customer: what ever you loaded on my I Phone Last
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: Yes
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Trying to open my Phone so I can Use it. It is locked
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I ALso have a IPad that has been out of service for 5-6 Months

May I ask for you to explain what is meant when you say that your iPhone & iPad are both disabled? Do the screens on both say, "Disabled"? Before you continue, try cold resetting them by pressing the HOME button and the POWER buttons at the same time and keeping both depressed until it resets. Once it resets, let go of both keys. Are they still disabled after the cold reset?
