My charging chord doesn't seem to begin charging. I don't know if it's the chord, or it's something on the inside of my Mac laptop. I want to make an appointment to go into the closest Genius Bar tonight and have someone try a different chord/charger to see if it's the computer or just the chord, but I can't seem to make an appointment with this computer. My cell phone is at home, because I forgot to bring it to work today. Can you help me make an appointment?
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular machine?
Customer: I've had it since 2009, and it's been repaired about 2 months ago.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: I believe so, when I had it repaired last time.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: My problem is that I can't get its battery to recharge--the chord has been acting up for a few weeks, (where I could move the chord around, push in on the plug, blow canned-air into the charging portal of the computer, and it would eventually begin charging as indicated by a light coming on. However 2 days ago, no matter what I do to the chord, the light never comes on.
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No--I just want to take it into the store--but I'd like to make an appointment first.
