I can't log on to my iTunes account; the prompt to log in

I can't log on to my iTunes account; the prompt to log in only shows the email address of another family member's ID. I can log into my account at iTunes, but not via my iPod touch so I can manage it and order music. About a month ago the other account (Ipad) had to be totally re-set to factory settings (with help of one of your techs), and I suspect that setup is what is blocking me.

To clarify Bob, the issue is signing in on the iPod with the correct account? Or in itunes on your computer?
