Struggling with my Time Capsule. It got 1/3 way through a

Customer Question

HI. Struggling with my Time Capsule. It got 1/3 way through a backup when I had my mac cnnected to my router via a thunderbolt ethernet cable, and the time capsule connected to the router by ethernet, but I had to unplug it and it didn't carry on by wifi. Now it's doing nothing.
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular machine?
Customer: The time capsule has always seemed tricky. I got it to do a full back up once but it just doesn't seem to play nicely. Nothing wrog with it - I've had it checked at the shop.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: Yes, to Sierra. But it wasn't working at all before the update.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: In the mac shop they updated the software and checked the hardware was working OK.
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No.

You will need to try a hard reset on the Time Capsule and then back up everything to it again.
