I just started getting an invalid response code when I attach my ipad mini to my itunes. I tried a reset but it can't be completed because the response code keeps popping up
JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?
Customer: I'm using a macbook pro and using os 10.6.8
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: just the ios update on the ipad. (10.0.2) ? I don't want to update the macbook because of conflicts with older software
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I tried to reset the ipad but I can't get through the reset process.
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: my wife has an ipad but she didn't update to the latest ios. I can still connect to itunes with hers
