I called apple support yesterday and evidently I do not

I called apple support yesterday and evidently I do not remember my applie ID and I have been having trouble...can't correct my credit card info either
JA: When did you last reset your Apple ID or password?
Customer: Yesterday they said I had to wait 24 hours
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: I updated on my phone version but support told me to get on my PC to correct the problem
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: i have written down my password ***** evidently it is incorrect
