I have a Logitech create keyboard from my Ipad. Since the latest apple update, I have to capitalize I and put in apostrophes for words like doesn't,etc. Anyway to fix this so it goes back to the way it was before. Thanks.

Hi and Welcome. My Name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you today with your question.

First we can reset your iPad and see if it works or not. Press and hold down the Power button and Home button at the same time until it shows the Apple logo. When you see the Apple logo, release the buttons and let it boot.

Note : Power button is the button you use to turn off your iPad or its screen. Home button is the round button at front bottom. Check if it is working now.

If not, then go to Settings > General > Keyboard and make sure the Auto-Capitalisation, AutoCorrection etc are turned on. If they are already on, then turn off and turn them back on. Is it working now ?

If it still not working, then go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings. This will reset the keyboard, WiFi, bluetooth etc. So after resetting all settings, you will have to reconnect the iPad to your WiFi network from Settings > WiFi.

Please let me know if that didn't work, so we can continue troubleshooting.

The Reset All Settings should work. If that didn't work, then go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset Dictionary.

Cant ive im i still not working.Which dictionary should i set it too. Apple or the other or both.

Guess i think its something that needs to be fixed within keyboard.

If resetting all settings doesn't work, then it is possible that the keyboard isn't compatible with latest iOS. Can you disconnect the keyboard from your iPad, wait 2 minutes, then connect it back and see if it works ?

I'm afraid Apple didn't include the support for this keyboard in their latest OS and may release fix in future updates. Do you have another device, like an iPhone there to test ?

Go into your iPad settings:
Settings > General > Keyboard

Once you’re in keyboard settings here are three options you should enable:

  • Auto-capitalization
  • Auto-correction
  • Check spelling

Another option is to reset your keyboard to factory settings.

To do this go to your iPad or iPhone settings:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionary.

You should restart your iPad after making these changes. If it not helps, please check this blog and try the fixes suggested.

I have already done this, and I see i've already been charged the $30. The information I received did not fix the problem. I don't think I should have been charged the $30. Please consider this done.
