Customer Question

I updated it recently and it keeps locking up when I try and set it up. Now siri is freaking out talking to me. When I type a number she says the number and the letters, but it won't register. So, i can't put in my password?
JA: When did you last reset your username and password?
Customer: It has been a very long time. I don't know maybe a year ago or 6 months.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: Yes, this all happened when I tried to install the latest update.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Just a bunch of restarting.
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I don't think so.

Sorry to hear about your issue :(
I believe voice over has been turned on by accident.
Try a simple reset first. Press and hold the power button and home button together until you see an Apple logo. When it is at the first wallpaper screen, hold down the home button and Siri should come up.
Tell Siri "turn off voice over".
This should turn off voice over. Now try to put in your password.
