I have a Zune model 1376 120 gb that comes on and the screen

I have a Zune model 1376 120 gb that comes on and the screen has a 5 and an image of a Zune with an X on the screen. Underneath that it says "contact support" in English, French and Spanish. What is wrong with it?

Zune is now considered a legacy device and no longer supported.

From a search of older Microsoft forums this error is a hardware error and the Zune needs a hardware repair.

As Microsoft no longer support this product any repairs would need to be completed by a third party company. I have googled Zune repair options and this one appears to have a diagnostic and pickup service, you should contact them to find out how much a repair would cost, and then decide wether updating your hardware to a new product or going for the repair, it would be up to you.
