Customer Question

I was just doing some research looking up if anyone else had my issue. My MacBook pro crashed earlier tonight while I was online. The screen started jumping, and then went white. When I rebooted it I get vertical purple/black lines and it won't start up.
JA: Just to clarify, how old is your MacBook Pro and what operating system are you running?
Customer: It's about 4 years old. Running Yosemite I believe
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Resetting the NVRAM, powering down for a while, and just rebooting several times
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I guess not. When I came to this page I was just expecting to read some related threads, I didn't realize I would be able to get interactive assistance

Logging on to this iMac will not do you any good. It is my MacBook that is having the issue

Well I am tired of waiting. I paid for assistance and got nothing in return. I will be requesting a refund.
