I updated to 9.3.4. After doing so it asked for my pass

I updated to 9.3.4. After doing so it asked for my pass code. I put in my password, trying several times with various iPad related passwords. None were correct and the iPad is now disabled and it says to connect to iTunes, but I can't.
JA: When did you last reset your username and password?
Customer: Never have.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Turning off and on
