I'm sorry about the issue. Does it give that message when going to a particular website? Does the website still work for you even with that message?

Can you please click on the Apple logo / menu at the top, then click on About this Mac..., then tell me your Mac OS X version, such as 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, etc.?

If the website is still working for you, then you can keep using Safari internet application if you'd like to.
