I'm sorry about the issue. You would need to upgrade your Mac OS X version, if it's compatible by clicking on the Apple logo / menu at the top, then click on Mac App Store, then click on Updates at the top, then update the OS X El Capitan if it's there. This will upgrade your whole operating system, then Safari version will be updated. But I recommend to try the solution below instead; it's quicker and easier:
