Images on my Film2USB Convertor always turn up negative. How do I get a positive image?

I understand the difficulty, the program you are using is only for the scanning, and not for "inverting colors". You would want to go into Picasa or another program like it to invert the color and save a new picture with the proper colors. Please see the link below on how to do that in Picasa. (I can give instructions for Photoshop or other programs as needed and at request, though Picasa is the easiest and most cost effective.)
