I do not get any errors -- the movie seems to start playing and I see the time counting down but there is no video and no sound. I was trying to watch a movie I just downloaded today, but also, I can't watch any movies or TV shows I have watched before on this computer.

These are instructions on how to find the codecs used, as well as the other specifications, of a video file using your Mac and VideoSpec.

Open the file browser and navigate the video file and let me know is it for example "movie.dmg" .dmg is the file format so let me know that.
