Hi there and welcome

Before you did the update, did you do the backup via itunes on your computer?

Please let me know.

The notes were stored on my phone.

ok, the only option you will have then is to attempt to run a recovery program. It is always important you first backup your phone before doing any updates, but you still may have a recovery possibility.

Download Wondershare here

Click me to open

Then run it on your computer and connect your phone and let it scan.

It will charge you but its the only program available that is capable of doing this. You only need to purchase the program when it says it has found the notes to recover.

Let me know how you go please.
