Hi and Welcome. My Name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you today with your question.

Some websites doesn't allow you to download videos. So the best option is, record the screen while the video is playing and this will allow you to save it to your Mac. Open Applications folder and open Quicktime Player.

Then in Quicktime player, click on File men and select New Screen Recording. This will record the screen of your Mac. Once it is finished, press Command, Control and Esc or click the Stop button at the menu bar at top.

You will now seethe video. Then click on File menu and click Save. Save it to anywhere you want.

Or you can use this third party application Camtasia Screen Recorder to record -->

If you have any questions or would like any additional information, please don't hesitate to ask.

I can't watch the video and see the Quicktime recording at the same time. Is it working?

You will not see anything about Quicktime while it is recording. After the recording has enabled, just go to that website and play the video normally. Quicktime will record in background.

Remember to press the record button after clicking the New Screen Recording.

To finish recording, click the Stop button (square in a circle) at the top bar or press Command, Control and Esc keys to finish recording. Save it from File menu

There is a problem with that method. That might not record sound and the video may be sluggish. There is another way.

Download Firefox browser from here -->

Open Firefox. Then in Firefox search "Video Downloader Helper Firefox" and from the results, click the First link and this will bring Add-Ons page. Click Add to Firefox. Then Install if asked.

Restart and watch the video. If the video can be downloaded, then you will see a green button with some number at the top right of Firefox. Click it and select the video to download.

Some websites will block this. In those situations, screen recording is the only option. You can also use this application to record screen ->

or this one -->

(Try the trial version of the application before buying)
