I have sprint connect 3 Iam getting an error code 1007 software update failed.

This may have been a failed firmware update. If it is, the following steps to reset the device should allow you to use it again after setup.

Step 1:

A master reset will result in the loss of all settings stored on the device.

This type of reset should only be used as a last resort after all other troubleshooting steps have been exhausted.

From the home screen, press the Menu key.

Step 2:

Scroll to Settings and press the Select key.

Step 3:

Scroll to Reset Settings and press the Select key.

Step 4:

To reset the handset, press the Reset key.

Note: Reset Settings will delete all settings stored on the device.

Step 5:

The device will completely reset.

Then go through the setup again and all should behave normally.
