Please go to the Apple logo at the upper left of your computer screen to About This Mac and give me this information:

  • The exact system Version (listed right under Mac OS X)
  • Processor
  • Memory

I am not currently at my Mac but I called home and got the info....
It is
System Version: 10.9.5
Processor: 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3

If you want to do that when you are home that would be fine. Normally you just right click on the photo and go to Share / Save to Photos but in that version of the system it may be slightly different, like Save to iPhoto Library ...

OK. I will try it when I get home. It sounds very simple....
Can I contact you if I need remote assistance at that time?
