hi! ever since i had to do a restore from my time machine i have not been able to scan. i have a Canon MX870 and mountain lion 10.8.5 and photoshop CS 5. after doing all updates yesterday and unplugging everything for 10 minutes, i finally have the scanner/printer in my list under import, but when i select it i get "cannot connect with scanner. Cable may be disconnected or scanner may be turned off. check status. click [scanner selection] if you want to select another scanner. scanner driver will be closed. 1.0.0" please help!
