The sound has become very distorted on podcasts on my ipad. how can I fix it?
Hello, my name is Dan.
I will do my best to help you, the only stupid question is the unasked one.

Do a reset.

To reset the iPad press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons down until the Apple appears, ignore all other screens, then let go.
This does a system reset much like a restart of your computer does.

It will not delete any data or apps. This sould fix the sound.
Let me know.

still sounds like a sound tunnel

Has it been dropped or gotten wet? Probably not but I had to ask.
A few things to try are, backing up and restoring the iPad.
This puts a new iOS on the iPad. Then restore from backup and this puts all that was on it back.

That explains how to do it.

When you connect the iPad to your computer and it appears in the Devices list in iTunes, righ click it and select Backup.

Then when the restore is done do the same thing (if it did not ask you already) and select Restore from backup.

Let me know.
