how do i uninstall "inbox" from my mac pro and revert to google as my browswer?

I am Vinod. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue.

What do you mean by uninstall "inbox"? Did you mean when you open your browser, it is showing your any inbox website and you don't need it?

And are you using the Mozilla Firefox browser?

Thank you

when i open my firefox i want google chrome to be my browser not inbox. i cannot use inbox on my mac because the settings are only for pc. i want google to be the browser and i cant figure out how to do this because the instructions are not meant for mac

Thank you, John.

Let's first try to change the home page of the browser. If that does not work, we will go for uninstalling the add ons, resetting etc.

Open Firefox. Now, you will find an apple logo to the top left corner of the computer followed by Firefox, File, Edit, etc

Click on Firefox there. Click on Firefox > Preferences

There, under the "General" tab, you will have the option to change your home page. Change it to whatever page you want. (for example, )

And under the option "when firefox starts", select "show my home page".

Now, close your browser and open it again.

Let me know whether this resolves your issue.

still opens with inbox not google

Let's try this. I just got this from the mozilla support site.

Quit Firefox
While holding down the Option key, click to open Firefox
This will open up a window that gives you the option to restart Firefox in safe mode and restore some stuff
I checked the first 2 and last 2 boxes on the little menu that popped up to disable all add-ons, reset toolbars and controls, reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults and restore default search engines
Clicked "Make Changes and Restart"

Let's see whether this resolves your issue
