I got a new docking station/speakers for my 30gb ipod. It played one song and froze. It won't do anything and doesn't show up when I hook it up to iTunes.

I am Vinod. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue.

Did you mean your ipod is now frozen? What do you see on the ipod screen? Is it blank or does it show something?

Thank You

it shows the last song played

Thank you, Mark.

Let's try a reset first. Toggle the hold switch at the top 3-4 times and place it in a position so that it is no longer on hold (that is the orange/red color is not visible next to the switch).

Now, Press and hold the menu and the center buttons together until you see an apple logo.

Let me know whether this resolves your issue.

it did nothing

The hold switch is off, correct? (at the top)

How long did you held down both the MENU and the CENTER buttons together?

Try holding them together for nearly 30-40 seconds and let me know whether you get any apple logo.
