This answer was rated:

How do I change a 25Mg mov file to a smaller mp3 file? I took it into iTunes and the choice to create an mp3 is grayed out! What other FREE options do I have to send a large file?

Hello and thank you for your question today. My name is Jason. I look forward to helping you today.

A mov file is normally a movie and an MP3 file is normally only audio.

You can convert your MOV file to many different forms with this application: On that page, click the Download button, save the file, and install it.

If the MOV file is only audio, you should convert it to MP3.

If the MOV file is also video, you should convert it to MPEG.

Another option you could use is to upload the MOV file to and email the link that it gives you after the upload to whoever you want to see it. You can email it to them.

Thank you.

I get this message when I try to use wikisend:

We are sorry, but an error has occured while uploading.

Ok, the free macdvd converter seems to be working - and says it will save the file to iTunes when it is finished - sooo, how to I email the iTunes file??? aaarrrgg!

Thank you for the update.

It should give you the option to save the file to a folder.

May I please, start a remote screen sharing session with you so that I can better help you resolve this problem?

Thank you.

You just joined.

The videos are located in your Movies folder, within the MP4 folder.

When the conversion begins, just be sure to uncheck the box that says, "Add files to iTunes Library after conversion."
