IE CNN, FOX, ESPN, BBC, REUTERS, GOOGLE NEWS, NYK TIMES, WASHINGTON POST. TIME CLOCKS,WEATHER, STOCK MARKETS DOW JONES AND STOCK PORTFOLIOS.. BLA BLA. NOT HAPPY SO FAR AND NEED TO KNOW CAN THESE BE SAVED WHEN I GOOGLE GOES IN NOVEMBER AND HOW.!!!!!

Yes, you are right. iGoogle will be retired on November 1, 2013. The mobile version was retired on July 31, 2012. But thanks to google,you can export your iGoogle homepage settings (including country, language, theme, layout and gadgets installed) to an XML file.

To export your settings:

  1. Click the Optionsgear theniGoogle settings.
  2. At the bottom of the page, clickExportnext to "Export iGoogle settings to your computer."

Check this Google page to know more. A good alternative for iGoogle, that I like to recommend ins Symbaloo. Click here for more details. Another alternatives I like to recommend are NetVibes and Protopage.

AFTER I CHOOSE ONE OF THE THREE AN ALTERNATIVE SUGGESTIONS FROM YOU TO I GOOGLE. AT THE MOMENT I HIT SAFARI AND I GOOGLE COMES UP WITH ALL MY GADGETS. CAN I ALSO PUT IN MY IXL FILE ASAP INSTEAD OF WAITING UNTIL NOVEMBER 1 WHEN I GOOGLE IS RETIRED. THANKS JOHN .
