I just bought an IPAD at Best Buy and they spent a lot of time trying to set up my email and couldn't get it figured out. I know nothing about this techi stuff, can you tell me if there is a trick.

Yes, I've had it for years...


 

Try manually setting up your email address on the iPad with the following settings:


  • Username: Full email address
  • Password: Password (case sensitive)
  • Incoming Server: pop3.live.com, port 995, SSL enabled
  • Outgoing Server: smtp.live.com, port 25, SSL enabled, requires authentication, use same settings as my incoming mail server.
