Hi, my name is XXXXX XXXXX if it's OK I will do whatever I possibly can to help answer your questions.

A locked file can be changed in Finder.

Select the file 9(in this case plugin) and press Apple key (also known as command, or ⌘ ) + I key.

There are a few different ways in which it can be locked, but look for a Locked checkbox.

If you don't see that, click the triangle to the left of Sharing & Permissions) and respond with the contents of that table.

Kindest regards,

Not locked files, locked PLUGIN!

Mac OS X is file based, everything is regarded as a file. If you go to Finder and locate the plugin, you can complete theses steps.

Open Finder, click Go at the top of the screen, and click Go To Folder.

Type /Library and click Go.

Do you see an Adobe folder?

I can't seem to access the old troubleshooting and am thinking perhaps I should Opt Out and maybe Travis can access the question given he logs back on soon.

I think the problem may lie in a framework mismatch, meaning the plugins are not supported on you version of OS X. Or that the files need to be unlocked using the permissions editor in Finder.

Kind regards,
