I am having trouble getting my computer and my bluetooth headset

This answer was rated:

I am having trouble getting my computer and my bluetooth headset to play nice. The headset is a Jaybird Freedom model, the computer is a Macbook currently running on a Windows 7 boot. The headset is paired and connected to the computer and has drivers. The problem is that the headset does not show up on the computer's playback or recording devices lists. Please help?

This type of problem is almost always driver-related.
Go to 'Device Manager' from 'Control Panel' and let me know if any errors or alerts are showing there.

No errors or alerts are visible. Nothing seems off about the bluetooth drivers or the sound device drivers.

Which drivers have you installed for the bluetooth headset, and from where?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

I honestly have no clue at this point, sorry.

At this point I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth drivers, as they appear to be installed correctly but clearly are not since the Mac is not detecting the headset when it is paired.
