I am Vinod. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue.

Sorry to hear that you lost the volume code for the ipod classic...:(

I believe you are talking about the 4 digit lock code for volume, correct?

If you have the primary computer (to which your ipod was first synced to), just sync your ipod with itunes and check whether your issue is resolved.

If that does not fix the issue, unfortunately, we need to restore the ipod. Open itunes in the computer and connect the ipod. Your ipod name would now be listed in itunes. Click on the ipod name, and now to the middle of the screen, you will find the restore button.

Restore the ipod. Let me know if you find any difficulty.

Note: Restoring will delete all data on your ipod, but if you have them all in your computer (or are purchased from itunes store), we can sync them back.

Thank You
