Hi,

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble connecting to a network...:(

Don't worry. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue.

Could you please give me the exact error message when you try to connect to a network?

Also, are you trying to connect to a wifi network or a 3G/4G network?

Thank You
Vinod

It says no cellular data. We tried connecting to a wifi network also a 3G network.

Let's check what is the error message you get when you try to connect to a wifi network.

Go to settings > wifi and try to connect to your wifi network.

Please give me the exact error message. Also, is your computer connected to the same wifi network?

Let's try to get your wifi password.

is your computer connected to the same wifi network? If so, is it a Windows 7/vista or windows XP or a Mac?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

yes my computer is connected to the same wifi network. and it is windows xp

Expert:  Vinod Menon replied 4 years ago.
Windows xp does not allow us to find the wifi password directly...:(

Who is your router provider? Netgear, Linksys, etc
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

my wireless modem is thomson 585 v8 Telecom

Expert:  Vinod Menon replied 4 years ago.
I am not familiar with that modem...

Let's try this. You need to download a software called wirelesskeyview on your computer and it might help you in finding the password.

Have a look at the following document

http://www.wikihow.com/Find-Your-WiFi-Password-when-You-Forgot-It

The third step shows you how to download wireless key view and use it.

Let me know whether that works.
Expert:  Vinod Menon replied 4 years ago.
My previous answer did not have the link to download wirelesskeyview. Here it is

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wireless_key.html

In that website, scroll down and almost to the end, below the "Feedback" heading, you have the "Download wirelesskeyview" link

I managed to get my ipad going after following instructions but, now I'm back at square one again....
