How do I get rid of unwante icons on my iPhone?

This answer was rated:

How do I get rid of unwanted icons on my iPhone and how do i check how full the battery is?

I am Vinod. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue.

To remove an icon, just tap and hold on an icon until it wiggles. Now click on the x button next to it.

Once you have deleted all the unwanted, just click the home button once so that the wiggling stops.

Let me know if you find any difficulty.

Thank you

That worked fine thanks. What about the battery question?

If you go to settings - general - usage, is there battery percentage turned on? If not turn it on.

Let me know

No bettery usage option.

If there is no such option, I am sorry..:( It is an older iPhone, isn't it? We don have a different option to find the battery percentage...:( we have to look at the battery symbol at the top right..

Time to get a Galaxy 111 (now the 4 is out)?

Can you tell me what version of iPhone you have? To find this, go to settings - general - about.

IOS 4.2.1 Model = MB704LL (I think it's an iPhone 3)

Yes it is an iPhone 3. Unfortunately, it does no have the battery percentage option. But the newer iPhones have.

Sorry for that bad news...:(
