Connect your Camera to your Mac and then turn it on.
In the finder your Camera should show in the devices section.

Double click on your Camera to open it and you will be able to move the photos from there.
An alternative way is to open iMovie on your Mac.

Then click on File.
Click on import from camera and it will import the video files.
