iMovie question. I know how to 'detach audio'. But how do I put a video clip over existing audio, that better illustrates the point I am speaking about in the audio? Thanks.
Hello, my name is Dan.
I will do my best to help you, the only stupid question is the unasked one.

Audio over video doesn't work, take the audio and place it over the video that works better for the point being made.
What I mean is, extract th audio that you want for the video desired. Then mute the original audio of that clip and replace it with the extracted one.

See this.

Look in the Help for iMovie, it is under the Work with audio and video section.

Hope that helps.
