Hi, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I will do whatever I possibly can to help answer your questions.

Have you just unboxed the iPad, or has it worked OK before now?

Do you see a symbol appear just before it goes blank, and if so what does it look like?

Thanks in advance,

Hi David. Yes I un boxed the ipod and its been pluged into the wall chargeing for aprox. 48 hous, still sais its only at 99%. In large letters in the middle of the screen is sais ipad for a second or so then goes blank

It should have enough charge at 99%, and the indicator often floats around 99% and 100%.

Please disconnect it from the charger, and connect the USB to the computer. Does iTunes open?

If not please get back to me again for reset steps.

The ipad syble appered again and then the screen went blank.

Leave it connected to the computer with iTunes open on the computer screen.

Then press and hold the Home button on the face of the iPad, and the Sleep/Wake button on the top edge.

Hold both together until the iPad resets, and you should see an Apple logo.

It may take a few minutes to appear in iTunes.

Let me know if it doesn't appear in iTunes after 5 minutes, and if anything different happens.

Thanks in advance,
