I am attempting to burn a Sony blu-ray disk in a Samsung disk burner (using my Mac Book Pro). I keep getting the message that the disk is not erasable. What should I do??

Apple does not support BluRay at this time you will need to purchase third party software like Roxio Toast:

I have roxio toast titanium pro. but not sure how to "share" the file from FCP in order to use the toast software. Which format to export into.

Toast will reformat for you so you can export at best quality apple pro res or h264. There are tutorials here and aslso built in to Toastt Pro:
