My MAC was working fine and then a minute later when i went to turn it on, all i got was a beeping sound. More specifically, three beeps in a row. I am assuming i have to take it to an Apple store to be looked at but wanted to know if you had any insight - thanks!
Hello and welcome to JustAnswer. I look forward to assisting you today with your question and providing the best answer possible.

This is indicative of a problem with the RAM.

Try this first:

* Shut down your Mac
* Disconnect the power cord
* Press and hold the Mac’s power button for 5 seconds
* Release the button
* Reattach the power and boot the Mac as usual

If the above does not work, remove the RAM and re-seat.
